Our Vision for South Africa
We believe that every South African child has the right to a good education. At Music Minds, we are dedicated to helping achieve that by offering scientifically robust, but accessible early childhood development. Much of a child’s future success is built before the age of ten, and we are committed to laying that foundation through specialized cognitive stimulation.
Why Music Minds?
Our program is a scientifically proven system that starts with baby development and works step-by-step to develop cognitive abilities before children reach the intermediate phase. We use music as a proven channel to enhance a child’s visual and motor skills, listening and speaking abilities, and language and tactile development.
- Locally Relevant: Developed specifically for South African children, our curriculum features culturally relevant songs, illustrations, and activities.
- Dual-Language: All of our programs and materials are available in both English and Afrikaans.
- Scientifically Driven: At age two, a child’s brain has reached 80% of its adult capacity. We focus on these early years to help children develop the “brain fitness” required for school readiness.
- Holistic Growth: Our 30-minute lessons are designed to stimulate different parts of the brain, including the temporal, parietal, and frontal lobes, as well as the cerebellum.
